I can't remember why or how I stumbled upon this artist, but I find her work very interesting. I think portraits of the elderly are particularly meaningful, because just as youth and childhood are short-lived, old age is a breif time of life that not everyone gets to experience.

These are my attempts at shooting texture. They turned out a little dark though.
